The backwaters of the Mississippi at Trempealeau Nat'l Wildlife Preserve - a delightful new discovery for us that lies on the migratory flyway for many species of birds. I captured mostly scenics this time - not quite enough zoom power in my equipment for most of the shots, and the few precious opportunities that came along to capture a feathered friend up close were just too quick and too short for me!
